Welcome to Ron's Antique Clocks

Welcome to Ron Jeuch's Antique Clock Reproductions. Thanks for dropping in and spending some time.

My daily life revolves around business computers. High-tech sometimes is stressful, other times it can be boring. Building things with wood is a welcome distraction. There is visible progress. Any problems coming along can be linked only to the builder.

I have been building reproductions of classic antique tall floor clocks for several years. This all got started with a photograph of a clock that was built around the year 1900 in England. It was a massive piece of Oak furniture with simple straight lines, a mixture of Shaker and Mission styles.

It took a considerable effort to find thick Oak planks and a fitting clock movement without any drawings and leads to suppliers. However, the result is quite pleasing as you will see on subsequent pages.

Later, I came across a company, Emperor Clock, Fairhope, Alabama that sells kits for building reproductions of classic tall clocks from centuries past. I was impressed with the quality of the workmanship, from the carved wood pieces and beveled polished glass to the movements and dials.

Six clocks later, I am pressed for space in my house. Therefore, you are welcome to contact me should you be interested in getting one of these remarkable clocks. Yes, they are for sale!
