Tri-Leg Candle Stick

As mentioned earlier, what might be considered as waste after cutting the wood for a certain item can be used with some imagination.

When making the Bowl Times Five, four interior quadrants were cut out and made into what I call the Center Piece.  However, there was the round cutout from the center and four corners left over after cutting out the circular shapes for the bowl. The corner pieces found their own use as shown below.




Voila, three-legged candle sticks with a hexagonal top for the candle, one shown in Walnut, the other in Cherry. The size of these holders (6 inches wide and 4.5 inches high) are sturdy enough to hold a 15 inch taper candle with ease.
